Living life and following her dreams has always been Elin's motto and what has propelled her forward. Her biggest dream, to become an author, came true when she released the book "Odödligt sökande."
In addition to her passion for writing, Elin has a deep interest in personal development and philosophy, something she discovered as early as the age of twelve. Greece has always held a special place in her heart and, along with music, is a significant source of inspiration in her writing.
Elin is constantly in pursuit of the next dream and adventure! Currently, she lives in a camper van, enjoying the freedom of soon traveling to warmer latitudes while writing books and working as a healer, holistic life coach, and conducting courses/retreats in personal and spiritual development.
Elin has been writing all her life, but in 2015, she enrolled in a writing course in her hometown of Kungsbacka. The participants were tasked with writing a short story.
Elin noticed how everyone around her began writing eagerly while her notepad remained empty. She put on music in her headphones – something that had always inspired her – and shortly after, a movie started playing in her mind.
She saw a young, strong, and independent woman walking across rolling landscapes with green hills and olive trees. There was something special about her, she was incredibly beautiful with large green eyes, sun-kissed skin, but above all, her aura – so remarkably self-assured and powerful. For those who have read "Odödligt sökande," you'll recognize this as one of the scenes.
This beautiful and strong woman was named Marilena, and she is also the one depicted on the book's cover. Eventually, Elin had written an entire short story about Marilena and her life in ancient Greece. This short story became the foundation for the narrative of "Odödligt sökande."
From its inception in 2015, it took six years until the manuscript was complete. During these years, Elin studied journalism, writing, and literature at universities, folk high schools, and Folkuniversitetet. There, she continued to work on her book manuscript. After completing her studies, she continued to write her book, often resulting in many late nights.
During this time, she also went through significant personal and spiritual development. Meditation became a daily routine, and soon, she started receiving a wealth of information during meditation and in her nighttime dreams. She saw scenes in her mind that seemed like they were taken from a movie – she realized that these were scenes for her book. She wove these scenes together with inspiration from her own life, creating the narrative. Much of the book was channeled through dreams and meditation in this way.
In February 2021, the manuscript was finally completed. The following year, Elin chose to go her own way and started her own publishing house, PW PUBLISHING. After extensive editing, she eventually published "Odödligt sökande."
With trembling hands, in July 2022, she unpacked the books from the printing press. Her life's biggest dream and goal since childhood had finally come true.
